Just checking who's doing this ride. It's coming up fast. I did it last year... epic is a good word to describe it.

Benriden? SilentBen? You guys coming back for more?

I'm out. Moving the freshman kid up to OSU that weekend.

Which route are you doing?

Damn! I was hoping to ride with you. I'm signed up for the 110 but not ruling out the 140. I haven't trained at all so I will probably stick with the shorter version.

Darn it.

Yesterday, I did an Auburn loop via Colfax, Iowa Hill, and Forest Hill. Perfect temps.

As usual, Iowa Hill kicked my butt. I timed myself and came in at 20m22s. Not bad, but not all that good. Lot's of little gnats at the town of Iowa Hill.

Something is in bloom that kicked started my allergies. I was sneezing and wheezing the entire ride.

Ride stats say's we did over 7k climbing at 64.7 miles. Good times.

What was the morning low temp? It's getting cool in the am's now. I'll have to bring layers. I remember last year I was pretty cold for the first 2 hours.

20m22s doesn't sound bad at all. I didn't do the TT last year due to a wobbly wheel. I plan to try it this time around.

Based on my Saturday training ride, I will be doing the 110 route.

We started around 7:30 and it was pretty warm.

Last year, I think we started about an hour earlier than that, so it will probably require a vest and warmers. At the Colfax rest stop, they had bags to put your gear in and they would drive it to the start/finish.

Good luck,
