Does anybody know a good fixie mechanic in the Northern Virginia/DC area they can recommend? I'm looking at converting my old roadie to fixie, and want to make sure it can be done and done right. Thanks.

What's your budget for the project? There's some stuff out there that makes the conversion easy, but it's a little more money than a traditional flip-flop hub setup.

That's one of the things I want to talk to someone in the know about...cost and options. I have know idea what it will cost me 'cuz I don't know what parts/components are good/recommend. These 2 things will determine my timeframe for building my fixie.

Yes, I'll interested in anything that makes my conversion easy. Thanks.
