The ultimate in utility, the Swobo "Otis" has a bottle opener under the seat.

I believe this to be the coolest thing I've ever seen and wondered if anyone knows if something like this is available without buying an entire bike.

Thanks in advance

Im pretty sure you can just buy the saddle its self, but there "ACCESSORIES" page is not working right now.

Get a regular flat metal bottle opener and a strong magnet, and clamp it under there yourself. ;)

a couple of friends and I bought the Swobo Folsum's and they had this seat on there. Every bottle we tried to open, broke! It is a really good idea, but if you have 5 different people try to open bottles, and all 5 break them, that's not a good rate. You are much better off getting one of these:

Cost 15 cents for plastic bottle opener, quick release and a ziptie. Has the advantage of being portable and useful for lifting pop tops without breaking finger nails; the versatile quick release can hold keys, ID tags etc. Far more practical and cheaper but admittedly nowhere near as ZootSuit Hip as the Swobo Brand bottle opener mounting.

I emailed the company and they said they are out of saddles and it may be a while before they get more in. This coupled with the testimony that it isn't much of an opener have led me to believe that I should look elsewhere for a new saddle for my bike.

OTOH,

You are much better off getting one of these:

Dear Santa,

I have tried really hard to be a good boy this year. If I made the 'nice' list please have your elves make me a stem spacer beer opener similar to the one in the link above.

Sincerely,
HandsomeRyan

Doesn't this just mean you need to get new tools to build your own...say a metal lathe and small cnc mill

I made myself one...

$3.50 for a cheap-o bottle opener, some longer bolts for the seat post clamp, and a couple washers/lock nuts.

It cranks the awesome knob all the way to 11.

Just don't let me run over someone's discarded bottle cap.

Here you go:

A bit pricey (http://www.jensonusa.com/store/product/GI302M02-Jenson+Usa+Wisecracker+Bottle+Opener.aspx), IMHO.
