I'm using and really liking my Polar S520i, except for one (non)feature that's annoying the heck out of me.

When I go to "HR Zone Summary", I get 100% above my zone, EVERY ride, EVERY time. I've set my HR values, upper and lower thresholds, and I've set my HR zones in the Person Properties. I DO get a distribution of times and %s in each zone when I go to "Distribution", so that shows cumulative time by each 10 bpm increment.

I've been through the manual several times, been through the help index in the software - NOWHERE can I find where to set the HR Target Zones so that I don't get this useless 100% bar every time I download data and look at my HR Zone Summary.

Thanks for any help.

I tell ya... that software and its help system suck hard... the options are spread out through so many menus it's not funny. That's why I'm slowly building my own application to process the exercise data because I hate the PPP app so much.

Whew... OK rant over. I take it you're in the HR Zone Summary graph? Right-click the graph and select HR Zones. You're probably in HR Limits "mode" which is telling you that you're 100% under your max HR.

Thank you, F1 Fan! That was it - duh (sound of hand slapping forehead - "try right-clicking the graph!" ;-)).
