OK - It's the bee - I rode the dreaded sky loop today for the third time. First time nearly did me in - Second time not so bad. Third time -definitely a hilly ride - with long and short hills.

I started out with the group - even stayed with them for about a mile or two then shifted into granny gear and whoosh they left me! I had told them I had a cue sheet and would be fine - plus I had a friend in the faster group who was going to wait for me at the store stop and we would ride the rest of the way together. As we rode - my friend remarked that she was very impressed and I had improved a ton. It's very hard for me to see it. Especially with a 13 mph AVG! I do know though there were alot of hills - since I know the route - I knew I could do all the hills. I just went into turtle mode (Like the Slowskys). This time there was nothing I couldn't handle.

Anyway - it's a great training ride..someday I will hopefully get better and ride with the group - til then I just go on my merry way. I also had lunch after the ride with the ride leader - so it was not as if I was totally by myself- atleast I was able to meet up with someone after the ride.
