I know about Broadway Bicycle School in cambridge, but i am fishing for something further north, even in New Hampshire.
Are there any other places to learn bicycle repair?

worcester isn't north but worcester earn-a-bike is a great place to learn maintenance skills and get a bike for doing it. No charge for the learning except for 5 hours of donated time in the shop. they're located at 4 king street in worcester. check them out on line.

L.L. Bean in Burlington, MA offers a free Bike Maintenance 101 clinic at random times throughout the week. I think you can get the schedule of clinics on the website under retail stores. It is pretty basic, but its a start and its free.

actually i found what i needed.

not only offers basic bike repair they offer the Park Tools Classes.
$219 for 2 successive Saturdays sometime in the winter.

Goodales has scheduled their January Class Jan 10th and jan 17th.
now i just have to scrape up the cash.
