I may not be as up on my Biblical studies as I should be, but didn't David slay Golaith? Doesn't that answer your question?
Or are you refering to the metaphorical Goliaths - the ones we face each day in trails of life, ranging from which breakfast cereal to have in the morning to how to survive the downtown traffic, and must constantly overcome? Cause I don't think you can really kill that kind. And even if you do, they've usually got friends to avenge them.
