I ordered a brake kit that Jenson had on special. It was supposed to include a new front and rear derailleur as well. When I received it the box was missing the rear derailleur.

I called there customer service line, and spoke with a very kind hippy. Well, I can't verify that he was a hippy, but he sure sounded like it. He looked up the special as it had been taken down from there site, asked me a few questions, and said he would send me a derailleur.

They shipped it the next day, and sent me a better derailleur than the one in the kit. Also, being a neophyte I hadn't thought about the fact that the kit included a mid-cage. He said a long cage would be better suited to my use, and that is what he sent.

So I have to give them two thumbs up. Way up, like the Fonz. Ehhhhhh.

I realize there is another Jenson thread already, but I haven't EVER seen customer service like this from an online company. I thought I would let others know.

I'm actually having a not so good first time experience. I ordered a chain and a few other items on Feb 4. I just emailed today and they told me it would ship out on Feb 18. In over a dozen online orders, I've never had such a delay. I'm assuming they didn't have an item in stock at the time. I guess I should order over the phone in the future to ensure this doesn't happen. At least the price was good.
