If any one has a 58 cm Trek 5200 could you be so kind a to post the measurement for the headtube. I had a size cycle fitting and we are trying to decide between the 56 and the 58 and the fitter needs the measurement to cofirm how many spacers would be appropriate when the bike is built up. Unfortunately this info is not given on the Trek website when you look up the geometries. (he doesnt stock bikes he just does fittings)
THANKS!
Check the Trek website for the geometry specs. www.trekbikes.com
I fell between the 56 and 58 (6' with 34" inseam) and chose the 58. I could have easily gone with the 56 and been just as happy.

Unfortunately the Trek web site does not give the dimension for the head tube. What year is yours. Could you measure the dimension of the head tube?
Thanks

Trek OCLV bikes have very short head tubes compared to other bikes. My 54cm has a 10cm head tube and I needed 3cm of spacers. I would bet that the 56cm has a 12cm head tube and the 58cm has a 14cm head tube.
I just measured on my 58cm 5900. It is just a hair under 14cm like what Gonzo said.
