Foo - I didn't know I was that athletic

I had an amazing save from a low-speed flop over yesterday. Comming to stop at a red light, I took my left foot out of my toe clips as usual. However, as a car ran the late yellow, I began to fall to my right. Without enough time to get my right foot out of the clip and not enough space to ride throuth it, I stuck my left foot through the frame to catch myself!!! Anyone do this or similar amazing saves from close crashes?
Hahahaha. Damn, I wished someone caught that on tape! That's awesome!

I think that's flexibility, not athleticism. I'm not sure i could do that without tearing some things in my knee...

Nice save! I think my foot would get caught on something on the way through, and probably slice a ligament on the sprocket.
That's why I'm trying to get in the habit of keeping my weight on the seat when coming to a stop, that way if I need to pull my right foot out I'd be more able to.

I'm pretty skinny and lankey. I guess that's how I fit through.

If I did something like that, I'd end up in the flippin' hospital.
the triangle on my bike is too cluttered for me to do that without killing one or two of my bottle cages :)
