There are a couple tandem cyclists headed to Colorado Springs for a Riders with Disabilities - Development Cycling Camp on September 23-28 at the Olympic Training Center, leaving from Knoxville, TN, around the 21st. http://www.ushf.org/2008/content/view/1809/73/

The one sight-impaired stoker I've been in contact with has had her tandem for about a year and has participated in two triathlons with her personal trainer as her pilot.
