Hi all, long time viewer first time poster. I'm newish to mountain biking. I picked up a Kona Dawg from a friend for an absolute steal, but I'm finding that all I really do is XC-type riding. I don't do jumps or anything, I just want to scramble up the mountain faster than the other guy. I'm seeing a King Kikapu on closeout for what looks like a steal. It's lighter and has a lockout on that rear shock that might really help me. What do y'all think about these things? Good ride? Any idea what it weights / how much lighter it is than my Dawg?
