So I bought a (used - barely) second stock wheelset for my Poprad disc, and I'm considering ways to make it a little higher performance. I hear of others who have successfully gone tubeless for cross without using a tubeless-specific rim. I even here rumors of succes with non-tubeless specific tires. Anyone have any experience - good or bad - with trying this and want to share their story or point me to the correct thread?
The Wheels are 24-hole Bontrager select. I have a couple different tires, but was most curious about trying it with the Jones CX, or possibly buying the Hutchinsons. I'm not really interested in purchasing new rims right now.
Thanks.
