Same here! Last October, I was a size 32. Today, I am a 36. Sucks!!!
I have gotten a trainer and I know that when I can start commuting everyday to work, I will be right back to where I was last year!

Pants with an elastic waistband can eliminate your 32 --> 36 problem. :D

The worst thing about it is, I only gained 13 pounds, but still gained 4 inches
Those brownies sound like they could be dangerous. Send them down here and I'll make sure they don't cause any trouble for you.
By early January I was 184 lbs at 6'2", only 9 lbs away from the goal. And then I got sick and the battery in my scale gave up. A month later with a new battery in the scale, I'm back up to 194. Well, we'll see about that. I may yet make weight by the beginning of July.

I've gained 10 lbs. over the winter and can feel it. I don't have the energy I'm use to having. Of course this could be my current diet. I rode yesterday for the first time in a couple of months and boy is my arss on fire today. Can't wait to get back into the saddle.

It's funny, when I used to weigh 65 pounds heavier than I do now, I kept saying "If I can just get down to my 170's , I will be happy and not want to lose anymore." Since last summer, when I was in my low 160's, I now feel enormous in my high 170's!

mmm, pizza, beer and brownies... Heh, I eat all of that - as long as I can get to work on the bike and back home... I'm halfway ok. Now, bring on the pizza and beer!

I feel ya... :) Mmmmmm.... brownies... :D
Too many travel weeks with work, far too many restaurants and a hotel with a really crappy gym have added up to a halt in my weight loss. Thankfully haven't put much extra on (< 5 lbs).
Can't wait for the warmer months and a lighter travel schedule. Bike commuting makes such a difference both to my health and stress levels!
heading downstairs to find a shop that sells brownies now... dammit!!!

I've gained about 10 pounds, but a good deal of it is from lifting at the gym. Tired of being a tyrannosaurus rex.

I'm in the same boat, or maybe ship in this case!
I was 185-190 a year ago, now I am 209-211.
WINTER SUCKS, but it is finally warming up some. Just in time for the rainy season.
I was 194 when spring started last year.... This year I was 173...currently 168 and hoping to be down under 160 in time for seattle to portland... I'm 5'8"....
Pizza, beer, brownies, and the addition of three (THREE!) Krispy Kreme places here in the last 12 months have not helped me...

i'm somewhere between 115 and 120 and i can see my gut...i can feel it growing...and my thighs...good lord they're huge. i'm being serious here. i'm used to having a pretty flat stomach, and trim legs. a few months of inactivity have thrown my body into the gutter.
god i'm a lard-ass.
you should just build big muscles to burn off all that fat! it's waht i'm gonna do! :D

i'm around 5'5". and i'm not just being silly. i don't like having a gut...sure, people always say i'm "underweight" when i tell them i'm between 115 and 120, but my frame is such that i start to look (and feel) "overweight" if i get above 120lbs.
i don't weigh or measure myself on a regular basis, so i can't say exactly how much i weigh, but i think the "heaviest" i've ever been was probably 125, 127. and i only know that on my driver's license it says i'm 5'5".
i dunno...i guess i'm just self-conscious?

Ditto on the vertically challenged. ;) I will give one of Geneman's wife's brownies to weigh what OneTinSloth does. I am 5'9", 145..argh..last summer I was 135. :( I would officially like to blame it on my boyfriend though, he loves my cooking & baking so therefore I keep doing it to see him smile more. And, ofcourse, I have to "taste test" all the batters, frostings, etc!

if 6'3'' is undertall?
would that make me 'overtall' at 6'8'' 218lbs, or just right ?
Time for me to gloat- I haven't gained a pound all winter!
However, I put on nearly 20 pounds over the past few years, since about 2000, thanks to a thyroid condition that shut down my metabolism. Thanks to increasing my mileage over the past two years (and some unwelcome stress in my personal life that caused me to lose a great deal of appetite for a while) I have lost all of that and am back to where I used to be. The fact that I haven't gained any weight this winter just shows that at least my metabolism is functioning normally again.
Speaking of being vertically challenged, I'm five feet five and have a small frame. I realize that gaining weight wouldn't have been so bad if it had looked better on me, but instead of making me look voluptuous or whatever it just made me look puffy. People were asking me if I was pregnant!I had to get clothes a size bigger. I am just not tall enough or big enough to carry that much weight (147). I just have nowhere to put it!
