Hi All,
Iv'e been riding a GT ZR2000 for the last 3years the onle thing I added to it were Mavic Cosmos wheels/hubs. It's a pretty hefty bike with a 7005 aluminum frame. I'm looking for an up grade from what I have.Unfortunatly I only have about 1,200 for the bike and maybe 300$ more for new clippless pedals and new shoes.
I went to the bike shop yesturday and tried a Allez Elite (Specailized) and a Roubaix (Specalized).I wanted to try the Trek2100 but they didn't have my size. I didn't feel a huge differance to my bike on the two I rode yesturday .
Does anyone have any suggestions on any other bike to try in my price range?
I'm looking for carbon forks and seat posts and no less than a full 105 package. I'd like sealed bearing hubs but I'll settle for cartridge bearing if the overall package is better.
