What have you found better in the cold, mud, muck?

Short sleeve jerseys
short sleeve with arm warmers
Long sleeve

In anything warm enough I would pick SS and be done with it, but Im debating on getting a couple of LS jerseys. Though I would rather buy arm warmers and wear those with my current SS stable.

layering works best for me. I like those cheap moisture wicking tanks that can be had for 14 at nashbar.. then i throw a short sleeve on top and arm warmers. Once you start sweating, you can roll the arms down and unzip for ventilation. This would be for the Fall.. however when it gets colder, I opt for the same tank and a long sleeve thicker poly jersey..
