Electronics, Lighting, & Gadgets - Digital camera mount for top tube?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I've done some searching on this forum for methods of mounting a digital camera to your bike, and viewed many video examples of their use. One thing I notice is that mounting the camera on your handlebar, while easier, results in a very unsteady image from the subtle back and forth movements generally made while riding.

My thought is that the top tube, just behind the stem, would be the ideal place to mount a camera. Has anyone done this and could recommend a clamp with a reasonable-height extension (say 8" or so) that I could mount my Canon SD200 on?
