I picked up two frames at a garage sale for cheap and was wondering if anyone knew their ages.
the grey one is a schwinn traveler
the tan is a univega nuovo sport
Thank you!

Both are probably mid 1980s. Give us the serial numbers and/or the 4 digit number on the head badge of the Schwinn and you can be more exact. Roger

6***** is Chicago's zip code. The number I am talking about will be a stamped number in the head badge with 4 digits. You really have to look for it. The first three digits are the day of the year and the last if the year. The type of bike will determine the decade. So 0247 which was on a Traveler I owned means Jan 24 1987. The other bike I don't have a clue about. Neither bike is particularly valuable. The Traveler is a lower end Schwinn. Probably 3 or 4 from the bottom of the road bikes. The Univega I suspect is about the same but without components its hard to know. Roger
