Northern California - Mt. Tam Hill Climb - Practice Race Ride 9-20

The Tam Hill Climb is coming up on Saturday 9/27. I've always done a practice race/TT on the course 1 week prior, so I'll be doing that tomorrow Saturday 9/20.

Meeting points: SF side of GG Bridge: 7:45, Manzanita Park & Ride in Mill Valley: 8:10, Mill Valley Depot: 8:30, Race atart area at Stinson Beach 9:15.

We'll stop and regroup at Stinson Beach and start as a group doing a rotating paceline down Hwy 1 at race speed, Once the climb starts it's every man for himself, then we regroup at the finish.

Let me know if you're coming and where you plan to meet so I can look out for you. Feel free to invite anyone else.

Hmmm I think I might be down for this instead of the Canada TT.... I forgot to register anyway, and would have to do it via email.

Pete, do you want to turn this into something longer, or just do the 7 sisters after ward, head down Panoramic and go back home.

I was thinking, I would do this with you guys in the AM, then head back to the peninsula for a ride with Ruth. we'd be at the top by 10 or so right, and then back in SF by what 11:30-ish??

So, I could be in the Peninsula around lunch time to do a ride there.

Dang, wife's workout class is 7am. I'd love to do this but her bootcamp/workout comes first.

The official finish line of the hill climb (and regroup spot) is at the parking lot at the south end of Ridgecrest - after the 7 sisters. If we head straight back to SF (via Pan Toll and Panoramic) after regrouping here then 11:30ish is a good estimate.

If people want to go a little longer we can drop back to Stinson and head back south on Hwy 1.

Cloudy/overcast most likely until Stinson, temp around 60 degrees, then warming and sunny as we start climbing, maybe mid to high 60's. Perfect! :D

This is my "Whack" plan...Race to the top, race back to the bridge, race to BArt, backwards on George's loop and meet up with those guy's. Can't miss a first time G man ride...It wouldn't be right!:D

Triple crown ... it's just persistence, that's all. I didn't even know I was considered a gladiator. Hail Cesar!
