I have an electric Mongoose razor scooter that I want to strip of its parts and use them to make an Ebike, it has a electro drive motor on it. I was thinking that I could mount it to the front forks and attach a sprocket to the front wheel, but I don't want the sprocket to always move only when the motor is engaged. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
