Im going to upgrade the brakes on my bike from one v-brake and one disc to all v-brakes. Im planning on getting a set of Avid SD7 brakes and brake lever from pricepoint for $70. If anyonehasthese brakes please post the pros/cons of them. Are they easy to adjust? Powerful? Reliable? Is the pull nice and smooth?

Thanks for the help :)

Don't have those but have the BBDB. If they are anything to go by then you will be well pleased with anything Avid makes. Try www.mtbreview.com for comments on what you are proposing.

I went from Shimano LX to Avid. I was shocked at how good the Avid's were.
