This winter I'm building a time trial bike that I intend to race on the following season. I was curious if any fellow Twin Cities area cyclists could give me a recommendation for a shop that has a staff knowledgeable in TT fitting. I'm going to need my seat mast cut down to a proper length (I'm on an aluminum frame), as well as some help getting my bars adjusted and choosing the right stem length. While I have a pretty good idea of how it's supposed to fit, I figure it's worth it to get a more experienced opinion from a second set of eyes.

Thanks in advance.

Several. Got a specific part of the metro you'd prefer?

South is best (I'm in Eagan).

If you venture up to St. Paul, Grand Performance (http://www.gpbicycles.com/) will set you up. The guy doing it will probably be Dan and you'll be ogling his TT rig in the process.

Thanks, they look like a decent outfit. I'll give them a call once enough of my still-in-many-little-pieces bike is assembled.

Gear West is THE place to go. The owner is a great guy and is a serious and talented Triathlete. All the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They are the authorities on Tri stuff in the mid-west.
