BMX - Good Bike?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Hey guys, I've been looking at BMX for a while now, and was interested in getting into it.
I'm about 6' tall and about 180-185 lbs. I was looking for a good beginner bike, preferably all chromo.
Here are some that I found around my area and was wondering whether it would be a good deal.

dont't buy the FIT for any price, FIT is ****. for a used bike, the Redline is overpriced. offer maybe $180 tops. this may be a little out of your price range, but it seems to be the only good bike on the page. http://www.ksl.com/index.php?nid=218&ad=4319546&cat=408&lpid=

If you're calling Fit crap, you obviously don't know anything about bikes.

Not crap. But c'mon you gotta spend at least $530 to get CroMo :(. Their high end offerings are nice but they are selling entry and mid based on name recognition.
