Cyclocross Racing - Um, how do race reports generally go in this forum?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I must admit I haven't been here in the past.

But I raced for the first time today; won. Tomorrow I'm racing up a category.

Here is a handy template you can use:

I [raced / did not race] today. I [won / didn't win]. It [was muddy / rained / had some other weather condition]. That is all.

You could also sign it "botto" for extra effect, but that's kinda played out now.

Indeed. Definitely worth coming back for.

Hmmm, seems like too many words for me. How about instead, I just say 'w'?

Poorly. Double flatted on the last lap. Kept going until the tube came out and got stuck in the cassette.

I was running 12th, I think, before the problem. I was pretty sure I would've gotten ~10th had I finished. Other than hopping over things, which I definitely suck at, I really need to work on my holeshot.

Well, good for you. I had to run the last lap of a race once. It sucked, apart from the heroic welcome I got at the end :)

Hmm. Yes, it has a certain terseness and lack of road-racing-subforumosity to it that is appealing. OK, that will work.

Congrats on the win, BTW :thumb:
