one of my cruiser bikes is a single speed "columbia clipper" light blue cruiser with these super heavy duty looking very wide chrome wheels with a suntour rear coaster hub and a front hub the size of a sa geared hub. sorry no picts at this time. now my question is i know columbia clipper from the 50's and 60's, but is this the same type or another great name bought off by a mediocer company and just badged? the components, standard touring style bars and color scheme/decals, make me think late 70's if not mid to early 80"s. only # is 7017 1118 stamped on the bb shell.

thanks for any info on real orgins and/or how old it may be.
