Triathlon - Triathele Magazine, what do you all think?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Is this a good magazine. I kind of just bought a year's worth of subscription with my next triathlon registration.

Triathlete and Inside Tri magazines are owned by the same people and they plan to announce some 'big' changes at this week Interbike. So stay tuned.

It's a fine magazine.

I prefer Inside Tri. It's a little more age grouper and short course focused than Triathlete.

Hmmm, are you sure about that? I thought Inside Tri was owned by VeloNews.

The comment came from Herbert, who is an editor/contributor at Slowtwitch, in response to why Inside Tri website has not been updated in a while. He mentioned the 'people' who own both but I can't recall the name.

I get them both. They both have their strong points, tough reviews of equipment are the strong suit of neither imho (jeopardizes the ad revenue). I look forward to getting them every month.

they are both great magazines. However, like runners world, it is usually the same stuff year to year. "83 ways to reduce your waistline" "42 workouts to increase your cycling speed/power/you name it." I have about 3 years worth of them in shoe boxes and will get them out once in awhile for "new" workout ideas I had forgotten about.
