Now for the embarrasing bits.
Got lapped (possibly twice), lost my race number and had to get a new one.
The good: Practiced cornering at speed on a really sharp corner. I'll be racing again this weekend, lets see if I can improve in a week. Heh.
Teammate won 4th in the 4/5 race (his 3rd race) and won 30 bucks.

Honestly, reading your race reports and ride reports over the summer while I was holed up at home really really really motivated me to get back out there.
I'm doing these two races to improve as much as possible in two weeks. I know that I grew as a rider between the first 4 races I did and I'm hoping I can improve my pain threshold again in these two races. Only problem is that it's so late in the season that everyone is really strong and the only people racing are those looking for the late season upgrade and such.
Still a blast though :)
Edit: Bleh, looks like I won't be racing this weekend. The race is only for people who have licenses. I have one, but my teammates don't. I don't want to go alone. So my 3 remaining races will be in the spring.
Time to build for them!
