Good work mate, here's a link with some of my photos: http://www.new.facebook.com/album.php?aid=32921&l=cbbf8&id=506614426 (ones of me courtesy of my lovely girlfriend who's in some of the pics)
I marshalled so not as many as I would have liked...
Thanks for posting
From the Flickr group it seems like a nice family day out. Suprisingly few recumbents knocking around, I thought. Although, thankfully :D, there seemed to be a dearth of fixie hipsters; guess it was too early/unhip for them

Yeah, no worries. I had a great time once again. The fixie hipsters just crack me up with their underground race spoke cards and unbelievably narrow bars. Let's see one of them climb a hill I say!
Did you have a good day?

I'm sorry to say I didn't get out. No excuse, not even the "fixie hipster" one :o Maybe next year.
Any problems with the marshalling? I saw one report of faster, older cyclist connecting with slow, younger cyclist but that was it, everything else seemed very positive, judging by reports on ctc forum, cyclechat, bikeradar forum, blogs, etc.
Lots of new videos on the interwebz. The Freewheel appears to be almost a non-event judging by how few news reports (standard, bbc, ap, sky, and that's about it) I can find.

The marshalling was a bit hectic. Lots of people for not many marshals to look after. The difference in ability was a big thing I think. There again, that's what the day's all about. There was a puncture in our group that a couple of us stayed back to repair that took ages, purely due to lack of maintenance on the bike beforehand.
I'd do it again though :)
