Electronics, Lighting, & Gadgets - Wireless Radios for group rides

I see nothing recent on the forum. I am looking for a helmet radio or at least wireless radio.
My vision is a PTT button on the handlebar with a bluetooth to the in-helmet radio.

Does such a thing exist, and if not, what are cyclists using for radios lately?

Wireless radios are definitely the way to go. Trying to carry enough wire to reach someone even 1/2 mile away is a chore.

You can search in the Tandems forum for "intercom" and see what has/hasn't been working. Wind noise is an issue for many of the microphones.

I've had decent results using a Pryme 400 series over-ear + boom mike with my HT (2M FM amateur if you're curious). Wind noise is tolerable and you can affix foam to protect the mike element. I attach the PTT switch to the handlebars with nylon zip ties and located it so I could keep my hand over the right hood to be ready to use brakes. Whatever you use, make sure the radios and cords are safely affixed so they can't come loose and jam drivetrain or wheels! For short range communications, I'd stick the radios in a jersey pocket and not have anything on the bike; if the radio is attached, I have to remember to disconnect the headset before climbing off (or pop next time for the Pryme headset with a break-away connector).

Throat mic wired to a regular radio carried elsewhere on the body. Push to talk button clipped to collar. Typical paintball setup.
