I like to make brownies, slightly underdone, with chocolate chip cookie dough mixed in.. top that with ice cream, either raspberry or caramel sauce, and whipped cream.. man, talk about a sugar high...
What's your favorite dessert?

What's your favorite dessert?:thumb:we will get along just fine. I usually substitute 2T applesauce for 1 of the eggs and significantly under-bake. They're moister. MMMM chewylicious.
I like anything chocolate although your dessert recipe may actually be a bit intense for me.

You ain't heard nothin' yet :) (spoken, of course, mimicking April's new found southern drawl)

Similar to your brownie combo, but do it with pumpkin pie this Thanksgiving:
pumpkin pie, vanilla ice cream, whatever syrup or sauce, wipped cream, and most important -- sunflower kernals!!! I find the sunflower kernal saltiness to be very complementary to the other flavors.
cream parfait, gateaux chocolat, tiramisu, eclair... mmmmmm

You are a terrible, terrible ... most horribly awful terrible person.
Now, scratch the caramel sauce and you have one of the all time weiners!!
My favorite is cheesecake with chocolate granache and whipped cream. To do it right, add a real nice brandy or cognac on the side.

Take some chocolate chip cookie dough, fresh from the tube or made yourself, put 1/2 cup in a bowl, warm it in the microwave. Similarly warm some M&Ms in the microwave (not so much that they crack open, and they will!).. Heat up some of your favorite cookie topping, fudge, caramel, or whatever.
Top the warm cookie dough with vanilla ice cream, sauce, and whipped cream. Warm M&Ms on top of the whipped cream (the whipped cream acts as a thermal insulator from the ice cream so the M&Ms don't just get hard again).
If you used chocolate sauce, you can also top with fresh strawberries.
Still think I'm terrible?

Um, yes. I would prefer to have back the last 5 salivating minutes of time spent in a drooling lust staring at my closet thinking about your concoction. Thank goodness my kitten decided to climb with full claws up the back of my exposed behind in the computer chair to wake me up.....
I cannot read this thread again (evil Tudes nemisis copies recipe to work e-mail for future printing...).
BAD!!! Very, very bad!!! thank you!!
thank you!!
Welcome
:p:lol::roflmao2::roflmao:
i like fried ice cream myself. with raspberries. lots of whipped cream
Ambrosia FTW: whip cream, plain or vanilla yoghurt and marshmellows together. Then add chopped strawberries and/or chocolate chips.
A close second is a anything with lots of dark chocolate in it topped with Hokey Pokey ice-cream.

Cheese cake with cherry pie topping. Not the light fluffy cheese cake you can buy, but the thick, heavy cheese cake that takes a few months off your life with every bite :thumb:

As far as elegance goes, honey Haagen-Dazs ice cream drizzled with Grand Marnier. That's pretty hard to beat, IMO. But for decadence that would be a dark chocolate truffle tart- butter, egg yolks, cream, dark chocolate... what's not to like?

I am lactose intolerant and lactaid is not helping much anymore.
So... it used to be ice cream now it is frozen yogurt and virtually any type of pie.
Pastries are another fun item especially of the french variety. The occasional donut if I can find a non krusty kreme.

I have never understood the fascination with cookie dough... But it sure is popular.
A few of my favorites...
Pumpkin pie with whipped cream.
Custard.
(I think I really like nutmeg. ;) )
Chocolate pudding with whipped cream (if it is good pudding).
Tira Misu (sp?).
My mother's chocolate chip oatmeal cookies.
Graham crackers and ice cold milk.
I have simple tastes. ;)

My favorite dessert is one that my mom used to make:
- Blender
- Orange juice
- Condensed milk (i.e. THE FAT)
- TONS AND TONS OF SUGAR
- Ice
Mix and serve. Enjoy. Yo head asplode.
Then there's flan (either the Dominican kind or the Filipino kind, which they STOLE from us! Just kidding; ka_jun don't kill me), batida de papaya (Papaya Shake -- the DOMINICAN way), my sister's Apple Pie, etc.

That sounds good.... And easy to make, and experiment with for different fireworks as the head asplodes... ;)

chocolate pudding cake
Three textures, one flavour, zero health benefits.
If you want to go crazy, chase it with red wine.
