Including - you got to eat twice as much protein at 60 and the value of creatine for aneroid workouts.
Worth a read.

Perhaps I do not know what I am doing but this article seems to be not cycling specific.
Nutrition is very critical for over 60 athletes. I am interested in any information for CV exercise or what they call aerobic exercise. Building muscle mass has no meaning for me. I am trying to stay active.

I doubt there is a greater protein requirement for older athletes. Older folks have lesser muscle mass hence I would argue a lower protein reuirement for the same level of activity. The higher level of protein requirement mentioned in the article is due to the higher level of physical activity compared to an inactive person.
Here is an article with more specifics http://www.infinitnutrition.us/library/NUTRITION%20FOR%20MASTER.doc . Ryan deals with the issue very well in Sports Nutrition for Endurance Athletes (2nd edition).

Yes- I've used it. It works for me (increased stamina, increased fast-twitch muscle response- great on sprints, etc., and increased muscle mass). That last thing is sort of a pain, though- bulking up isn't always a good thing, especially for cycling. I cycle 30 days on/15 off, 5gm/day every day. BTW, if you're using it during the summer, make SURE that you keep very well hydrated.

Does all this mean we have to start lifting weights again like we did as teenagers in high school?
