I had a bad experience on one those when I was a kid. They're fun until the brakes go out while being pulled by a rope (the motor was shot on it) which is attached to a 3 wheeler while going 40mph down the road. 3 wheeler brakes for turn + slack in rope + rope in front wheel = disaster.

but I'd look ridiculous on it and I'd be really low to the ground.

Too bad for you.

Why? I find the damn things annoying as hell and want to run over them half the time.

hehe - grew up next to a house with a homemade course out back - s'all you could hear for a couple years morning to near dark ... HOWEVER, while the parents ranted - I snuck over and took them for a ride. A blast. course I skinned a few knees, knuckles and shoulders on them too ..:innocent: cause the boys might have built some jumps and little hills and I'm this kind that says "I can do it". Oh and the next words are "Nope, I'm OK, doesn't hurt ... think I'll go now ..."

:D

Which one should I look more into. The doodlebug would seem more conventional. The pocket bike (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xZBIKrU7u7Y)however would mainly be for fun, not sure how well that'd do on dirt.

That doodle is cute, but looks pretty useless - just my opinion

On dirt, especially, it looks like the green machine is the way to go.

I stumbled upon a site recently, it was couples pocket bike sidecar racing. I can't seem to find it again, but man some of those pics were wild!

Why would a 50cc motorcycle come with a charger?

I think that is the Walmart one that only goes 10mph. So that one is out, but I'm really digging the doodlebug.
