Just tossing this out there for any newbies like myself. I just got back from a ride and I discovered a hazard I never gave a thought to. It's fall now and the leaves are dropping from the trees. So are the acorns, walnuts, and any other type that grow over the trails. I went zipping through a pile of leaves and didn't see all the walnuts on the trail. It is fortunate that you don't have to fall as far on a bent!! Acorns seem to be a nuisance but I discovered ( the hard way) that walnuts will put you on the turf! I'll go a little easier through those leaves from now on!!
