Any good? I know that Fenix is probably the undisputed king in the segment, but pricing and timing prohibit me from getting one right now.
Why don't you just get one of the inexpensive dealextreme.com lights?

Because I'd would rather keep my money in the local economy. If I went internet/mail order, then I would be waiting who knows how long. And no guarantee that I would get what I ordered either. (Ordered break room supplies for work once. Got a printer that they had stuck a Dixie plate shipping label on.)
A much better use of your money would be a $40 P7 that would give you 500 lumens to light up the night.

I just bought one. It is way better than the 9-led cluster light I had. I think it will help me be seen for sure. ALo, on my mt. bike I doubt I outrun the beam.

I have one and like it. It does a lot better than my cheap cateye that I bought as a 'be seen' light. Although there are times that I outrun the beam and could use one a little brighter. It is still a good light and I can recommend it.
