Banzai

I thought that Google was inconclusive, so I wanted to see if anyone here had experience doing this.
The doubts are obvious: will the baking temperature of the powdercoat have an adverse effect on the aluminum, particularly the welds.
The other option is, obviously, just strip and probably rattle-can the frame. We'll see.
The frame in question is 7005 TIG welded aluminum. It comes in matte black, which Mrs Banzai isn't fond of...she wants something more...feminine.
Thanks for any advice.
