I was going to get a 04 rockhopper but saw this K2 attack 2.0 on ebay.

Very low end full suspension, I dont think you'd like it.

Looks like you've already bought it. Shipping will probably be somewhere around $50, so you got it for around $300 below retail. Not a bad saving, though you will have to assemble yourself I imagine, and you don't have the support of an LBS for free tuneups etc.
Since you ask... at a price point under $1200-1500, personally I would have stuck with a hard tail. The Rockhopper is an awesome value bike, but I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun on the K2.
Enjoy!
it was 30 for shipping. I think ill like it. i rode a 03 and it seemed nice. ive never ridden a high end FS so i cant compare but im sure it can hold me over for a few years and save for a better one. As for putting it together i like working on my own things. Although i might not always be good at it. ie I tried to adjust my front derailleur on my old bike and well lets just say i cant get to 3rd gear now :( but i havent given up yet. If all else fails ill take it to my lbs and have them fix it for 6$ and just see how he does it.

It's not a bad bike for the price. I have a K2 Launch and the worst part about the bike was that Noleen shock. Do yourself a favor and watch ebay for a Fox shock to fit it. Most of the components are good enough until they break but I promise you will grow to hate the pogo stick shock if you do any climbing or xc. I think the shock is a standard 6.5" center to center so it should be easy to find a good Fox float or Vanilla RL to fit. You'll have to measure the frame bracket spacing and bolt size so you can order the bushings to make it fit your frame but they're cheap.
I was reading the reviews and ill probably get a cane creek cloud nine. what i liked the best about it is "I" can rebuild it. I dont have to send it in like the fox shocks ( well from what ive read) Also they have a trade deal that knocks off 100$ off msrp of the shock for sending in your old shock. :) Well i am looking forward to riding the bike.
