now now, there's nothing wrong with wearing pink, especially pink bottles.

probably this one (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=468627)

oh, and saying it was or is 'red' is the most common excuse to wearing pink.
I just don't remember which episode of red vs. blue it was...

Holy crizzap. Glad you're ok, man. Hearing the wife complaining is better than what could've happened!

I rode through crap like that once too. It was listed as the main route for a group ride, but I don't see how that's possible with convoys of 18wheelers going 80km/h+ down that road.

last time I do that route, especially when there are perfectly good roads going the same way the next block or two over which don't have posted 80km/h limit and 18 wheeler convoys rolling on them.

seriously scary when the 18wheeler's engine unit wind flutter causes you to be pushed off to the side of the road, then sucked into the trailer.

claim the lane... yeah, probably not on that road.

Also "it's not 'pink', it's 'peach'"

Bummer on the injury though

THAT made my day :D as for everyone else, LOL I love you foo! You make me happy.

Yeah the horrific fall thread on the road forum (where I got spanked by the grammar nazis) was mine.

I do own a pair of speedplays, tried them but knees didn't liked them so I went back to toe clips. And yes, my handlebar bag sucks, it's from x-mart @ 14.99 :( Every time I told wifey I want a 100 bucks handlebar bag she points at the speedplays :notamused:

Wife is now at Wallgreens getting some nice narcotics for mah! But she's giving me a hard time cuz she knows I can't ride away now. I'm her prisoner. :( She's making me pay (I don't know what I did tho, but hell I'm paying for it now).

That's exactly what happened. I looked around and I found these maps for a local club ride. It was a web site for a girls only club. If the girls do it, so can I right? Lo and behold, Ruben printed the cue sheet, didn't bother to check the route first on the car (even after I bought a shiny new GPS for that sole purpose) and went to ride the girlie route. Darn! the name of the club is "the bobbies" for God sake! How was I suposed to know that these girls are the toughest roadies of central Florida? :twitchy:

well, it depends on the time of day.
the routes I found were for 8am~10am sat/sun use
I rode it around 1pm on a weekday.
