Fifty Plus (50+) - Sidi Genius 6.6 carbon - what have I done?

Flush with N-1 bike cash I've pulled the trigger - $230 at chainlove.com. My last, very profitable bike flip essentially pays for them.
Unfortunately, though flush with bike money, my PayPal was underfunded. That means full disclosure on the $180 that will hit the family checking account.
Call me Imelda - I have about 6 road shoes (various brands, Look, SPD, and old-style clip), three MTB shoes, and three road winter boots. The Sidi cost as much as all the rest together (excluding the Lake winter boots)!

I tried on a pair of Sidi's many moons ago and they were fantastic. Then I looked at the price. I nearly stayed with Straps and Clips after that.

Yes and no. They were 50% off. My last two pair (Northwave) from the same site were $45 shipped (that's for both). I always shop for sales and use coupons etc. I try not to think of it as spending big $ but as reusing funds gained by flipping bikes and parts. The cost depreciated over 6 - 10 years should be reasonable.

I did see them at another site for $190 but the largest size was 42.
