Can anyone tell me if a Polar HRM/computer works on a low racer? (I've recently acquired a Fujin.) If not, is there an equivalent?

Don't count on it... I am assuming you are talking the wireless speed/cadence sensors. I have successfully mounted a cadence sensor on my Optima Lynxx (ok, not a low-rider, but similar enough, likely, as the relative distances would be the same or closer...) with excellent results, but I was completely unable to get a signal with the speed sensor off a 20" front wheel. The range on the transmitters is quite limited...

The heart rate, on the other hand, works just fine...

Thanks for sharing your experience. I don't want to invest in another system, but to get the same info, it sounds like it may be necessary.

I don't know about cadence, but I've run wireless computers on my Fujin SL-II, Velokraft VK2 and an Optima Baron with out any problems.

Avoid Polar products that use infrared. Extremely frustrating.
