Northeast - Jam in NY tri-state area?

That recent music thread in foo got me thinking...pulled out a gtr and came to grips with the fact I can barely remember which end of one of these things to hold in which hand. Rather odd and refreshingly sobering.

If anyone in this general corner of the country is up for it I'd actually like to shake off some dust. The thought of going on CL etc looking for people is not necessarily one that appeals to me at present...

I was thinking on a weeknight or weekend; not sure if a rehearsal studio is necessary....(with drums, I'd guess, yes). Do you play in your home?

I have a tiny practice amp and I've gotten comments from the neighbors, so I play unplugged when I play at all...tho there is a guy in my building who plays tenor (pretty good, too!) and he's riffing all the time...no one seems to complain about him (Maybe I just stink!:D)

I can practice in my place before 9 PM (10 if I want to push it but try not to). A bit rusty myself so it would be good. Do you have an acoustic? I have a practice one if you just want to swing over after work.

No drums though - don't like putting those in until everyone really listens to each other (trained musician - UG was in music).

Oh man this might be painful! If I can rope another friend of mine in it'll take some stress off of you - we play really well together and make it really easy to play off of.
