Okay, so I make huge mistake while riding some local singletrack, drop my chain, it wraps, ends up popping the derailleur hanger in two pieces. Ouch.
So I proceed to the Performance website and see that replacements are only $10... but none of them fit the XRL cross frame. (My frame didn't come with the spare, touch up paint, or pulley) So I e-mail them last week, and no response as of yet, and I've called, and the tech support guys can't give me a straight answer on where I could find one, as they don't see one listed on their end.
My first cross race is coming up fast on October 5th, and I'm pretty bummed about being out of a bike, especially if a replacement isn't available. One listed on the Peformance site says it is for XRL frames, but that's only the road models.
So, I guess my question is, are there any good substitutes that will work for the Scattante frame? Perhaps the XRL uses the same hanger as another bike out there that you guys could tell me about?
