Hi,
I've found a pretty good deal on some Crossmax SLR's but I'm a little spooked by their hubs. I had a set of Crosslands on a mid level bike and had the pawls in the rear hub disintegrate on me. Mavic was good enough to replace them under warranty and I promptly EBay'd them. I know that the SLR is one of their high end wheels but it still uses only two pawls in the freewheel. Has anyone heard of any recent complaints with these hubs?

Thanks,
Mike

Anyone have any experience or opinion on these wheels, particularly the hubs?

It's exactly the same design as all of their high end hubs (Ksyrium road and Crossmax MTB) - very good. They are reliable, very easy to service, and parts will be around for a long time.
