This is just the beginging of a new sport. I think we will see more off-road specific unicycles being manufactured. The high end cost right now is about $500-$700. I think we will see a $1000+ in the near future. Suspension, carbon fiber, ti parts! Some of this is being done now but not produced for the masses.

there already is a $1000 uni- the DM Vortex.its a heavy piece o crap though.an the brakes r not really functional while riding. o well.check it out at http://www.unicyclesource.com

my unicycle isnt the greatest but its not bad, and my dad bought it in '97 for 80 bucks.
I knew some of the better ones were alot more expensive than mine but as for myself, I would have to be devoted to unicycling if i ever bought a thousand dollar unicycle.
just my thoughts..nobody has to agree
but I guess thats why their forums huh
