is this harmful to your pedals? i shipped out my mountain bike but the shoes got shipped a week later and now im staring at my bike wanting to ride it! im not doing anything very burley, will this damage my pedals?

anyone have any advice? id only be riding it for a few days like this, any other suggestions? how much are just plain flat pedals?

No worries about damaging the pedals - but you might find it a little harder to keep your feet in place on a clipless pedal. :)

yea i agree with melt seeing that the pedal is really tiny compared to your shoe

What style of clipless pedals are they? You might be able to pay a visit to your LBS and pick up something like this:http://www.winwoodbikeparts.com/images/PD1150.jpg (http://www.winwoodbikeparts.com/decksters.html)

They'll also come in handy even after you've gotten your shoes... especially if you just want to tool around town and such in normal shoes.
