Used my Polar A5 today first time on my Litesped. Its got a 'cateye'(?) cordless cyclocomputer. I noticed My HR monitor was beeping like crazy and when I looked at it (on wrist) it showed 212 BPM. I sat up straight, and it settled back down to 135 bpm. Happened several times, especially when I used aerobars. I figure is I'm getting signal interference Correct? BTW- cyclocomputer seemed unaffected. Anything I can do? except go to wired Cyclocomputer unit?

I had the same problem with an older Polar unit. I ended up buying a new polar and made sure it had the "own code" they offer. It has a coded chest strap so it will not pick up on signals from other hr monitors or cycle computers. Im not familar with the model you have but my guess is that it is not coded and therefore picks up the signal from you computer.
