Seriously...

A few weeks ago, I ran out of orange juice (something which I love). Since I was running low on money that week, and I wasn't getting paid for a little while, I started drinking lots of water. I tried making my own weird low-calorie smoothies, but they didn't do it. Thus, I drank more water. Soon, I was buying less juice. I had already laid off the soda a while ago. Even sooner, I started not desiring juice or soda. Even sooner, I stopped ordering Sprite at restaurants and substituted that with water...

Fast forward to now, all I drink now is water and coffee (and usually two or three cups a day).

Now my only liquid addiction is whole milk, and I'm switching to Soy.

So if you think you can't lay off the juice, you definitely can...

Ketchup and water, microwaved, instant tomato soup for those on a tight budget.

I use the Nestea Singles to flavor my water ... I'm not fond of plain water. Fruit juice just has too many calories for me, and I'd rather get my quota of fruit from fruit rather than juice.

espresso, matcha tea, water, V8

Water being the majority. V8 for electrolyte replacement. matcha or espresso for waking up.
I rarely drink fruit juice anymore, as mentioned above, a poor way to get your calories, id rather eat the fruit and have a glass of ice water.

I drink ONE glass of orange juice in the morning and that's about it as far as juice. I do drink about 20oz of gatorade throughout the day (along with water). I'm not much into water unless it is really cold.

1 glass of freshly pressed OJ and an espresso with breakfast, some semi skimmed milk with lunch and some wine (or occasionally a beer) with dinner. Other than that, plenty of water (still or sparkling) and green tea during the day.

No sodas.

Water, skim milk, and coffee for me. I can't remember the last time that I had a sugar laced soda.

Unfortunately I still partake of beer on occasion and force myself to do a long ride the next day.

I didn't lay off the juice out of force; I mainly did it because I couldn't afford to buy a carton or two for a week, landed up drinking lots of water, and then when I could afford it again I decided not to get it...

i used to drink a 20oz OJ and 1pt milk with breakfast. dropping those, plus switching to diet sodas, has helped do my weight worlds of good.

of course now i don't eat enough fruit, and i'll probably get cancer from the artificial sweeteners. i'm too lazy to win.

Nah, I'd sell the lens and buy Lightweights for my Trek 1000.
You know the deal, man. :)

I always dilute my juice. I typically fill a tall galss with 1/3 pomegranate juice and the rest with either water or seltzer/Pellegrino. Sometimes I will do the same with either acai/blueberry or grapefuit. You save on calories and your juice will obviously last a lot longer. I find straight juice way too much in terms of flavor after I started doing this, and its nice change if you are bored with water.

pomegranate + seltzer is awesome, i've never found a cheap enough brand of pom juice though. maybe i'll indulge myself sometime, and i'll have to try pellegrino.

I do too when I drink it. After doing it for a while (like most good diet adjustments), it gets difficult to drink orange juice straight. I can do it now since I hardly ever drink orange juice to begin with.

Dangit! I thought this was going to be a thread related to laying off alcohol. Where is the AA forum :)

I cut my OJ to about 60% OJ and 40% water in the morning. Screwdrivers are about a 50/50 split.

I guess it applies to that juice too...
