HI . i have just put a set of campa deltas on my merckx .
the rear i ahve adjusted no problem and works a charm .
The front brake on the otherhand isnt sitting properly . ill try to explain .
the left side brake pad is just sitting in the correct position on the rim , i ahve adjusted it just fine .
theirght brake pad is sitting a bit igh on the rim+tyre . and this is a huge NO NO .. but i cant seem to find the adjestment .
i ahve adjusted the pins on the pad its sitting nice but there doestn seem to be an "OVAL" washer to pivot the pad up or down . just a screw and its spositioned to face all the way down .-

also this is MY first set of deltas - does the front brake ,once centered on the rim (no tension on the cable ) sit on an angle ,to componsate for the cable coming in on an angle ?
anyway im a bit stock and not sure if i missed an adjustment ,or if there is a trick here i am missing .

i really dont want to change any parts out on the brake pad since these brakes are almost never been used .
Thanks for the help .
Cheers
T

This site has some Delta installation instructions
http://promechanics.com/resource-library/tutorials/brkdlta/

This is the Campy Tech Docs and Instructions. Dont know if Delta is here, but still a useful link

PS if anyone else has this problem here how to solve it .

loosen up the mount bolt . gently slide the entire brake up or down depending on adjustment needed . once the brake is in desired position . center the "OPEN " unadjusted brake pads in the center of the rim . lock the mounting bolt , conintue with pad adjustment and cable tension .
