I've put together a commuter from a bamboo frame that I recently built using a Shimano Nexus internal geared hub. I used an Ultegra crankset, but due to the conversion to the hub, I only need the smaller front chainring.

Rather than taking the crankset off and replacing with a single chainring crankset, I am looking to replace the large chainring with a "bash guard". I am having trouble finding any sources for such.

Do any of you know if they exist (130 BCD, 5 bolt design to fit the Ultegra crank)? Any leads would be helpful.

Thanks
Gray

There you go. Problem solved, and much cheaper than other (carbon) sources. Thanks

Just recieved my bash ring today. Inexepensive, high quality, and functional. Not fancy (bare aluminum) but by far the best thing out there....fancy goes away once you get your bike out there anyway.

Thanks so much. Hope you sell more.
