I haven't been on in quite a while. My Son has been sick and I just haven't felt like getting on lately to be honest lol..
We are now up to 8miles a day. Besides a few days where my sons been so sick. Thats including no riding today but, we will start back up again ASAP! I'm having a blast with riding and have found a place to ride with A LOT LESS Traffic, of course I have to load up me, my bike, my son, and his trailer which is definitely something different having my bike hang out my trunk, and my trailer sitting folded up taking up most of the front of my car HAHA but its worth it! and my son has gotten to the point where he just sleeps on the long rides! Or he will just play with toys...a bike rack is a must here soon!
I've already lost 10lbs!! I feel better, and am starting to look better! =) My Husband is thrilled that I've taken on something different, and has agreed to help me buy me a Bike! We are looking for a used one right now, I'm really liking the Kona Dew, I got to ride one at my LBS and it was very nice, it was to long for me but, it was wonderful!
Unfortunately it seemed we knew more about what I needed then he did, but thats ok.

Anyway, How is everyone?

When you say we knew more about what I needed then he did did you mean the salesperson? Some sales people are better than others. You can try another salesperson or maybe even another store. It's great that you are getting into the riding. Bike shopping becomes exciting instead of chore when you are excited about it. Take your time on getting a bike. The end of the season is near. You should see the inventory of used bikes increase.

Congrats on the weight loss, improved health and self-image!

Congratulations. Keep it up and those eight mile trips will start to feel like easy warm up rides to you on the way to longer trips.
