2004 NORBA NATIONAL MTB SERIES LIVE ON THE INTERNET
1010TV to Broadcast NORBA Series and U.S. National Mountain Bike Championships
Colorado Springs, Colo. (March 4, 2004)—USA Cycling, along with 1010TV and 2004 NORBA National Mountain Bike Series Co-organizers, Team Big Bear and Blue Wolf Events, announced today the live webcast of select mountain bike events.
For the first time ever, racing enthusiasts will be able to view real-time race action in addition to taking advantage of live interactive features.
Coverage kicks off with the third NORBA National at Snow Summit Resort in Big Bear Lake, Calif. May 20-23, and will include the five remaining stops in the 2004 NORBA National Mountain Bike Series.
The live webcast will also expand to include the inaugural U.S. National Mountain Bike Championships at Mammoth Mountain Resort in Mammoth Lakes, Calif. Sept. 23-26.
Combining live racing and behind the scenes action, viewers of the webcast will be able to interact with a “spokes-model” and ask questions in real time, creating an incredibly unique experience through the interaction of the viewing audience. In addition, interactive viewers will have the opportunity to win prizes, including the NitroSpider ™ Helmet camera package grand prize.
